Sustainable Gallery

Nature and art. Two ideals that we can not do without. They are part of the lives of us all. We owe it to ourselves and our children respect and esteem for it to handle. After all, what is passionate created yesterday, maybe tomorrow, it shows us the path. Therefore we make every effort to maintain this environment. This idea underlies the built of the new Interart Sculpture Gallery, designed by George Witteveen. It is sustainable and self-sufficient, but put no demands on nature. It is the first sustainable Gallery of the Netherlands. It thus set an example, a development which we hope to set in motion. Her achievement is a beautiful and logical extension of the ideas we have about sustainability. And fits perfectly with the way we think about the world around us and what we feel for art.
